*Disc Draw
We operate a unique system that allows members to play in a competition without the need to
pre-arrange playing partners. Members are allocated a personal disc number which is placed into
a random draw to select playing partners from all handicap ranges. Generally, several starting holes are used to ensure all members commence play within a thirty minute period. This system encourages members to mix and meet each other, play together and develop friendships over time.

How to Join
Click on the button below and complete your application online. If you have specific questions or require more information, contact the Club Manager on (04) 235 7633 or email judgeford@golf.co.nz.

Judgeford Golf Club is known as the friendly club and home of the disc draw!

We have a beautiful, scenic course that is a little gem – just a short journey from Wellington, Porirua and the Hutt Valley

There are plenty of opportunities to join in the organised midweek and weekend competitions or book your own rounds online

What is our disc draw?
Our disc draw enables our members to just ‘turn up’ for a game of golf – no organisation needed on specified days – see below

Every member is issued with a small numbered disc that is kept in the locker rooms – it is the same number as your NZGA ID number

On the day – simply turn up, pop your disc in the box and join in the shotgun start

When do we have the Disc Draw?
  • Midweek – Tuesday and Thursday – 11am tee off (discs in by 10.45am) – Men and Ladies welcome
  • Midweek – Tuesday – 9.00am – Ladies Club Day
  • Weekends – Saturday and Sunday – 8.30am tee off (discs in by 8.15am) – Men and Ladies welcome

Why is the disc draw fun and easy?
  • No organisation needed – just turn up and there is always a game!
  • Play with different players every time with our shotgun start system
  • Great way to meet other members of the club
  • Fun informal haggles
  • Great friendly atmosphere

Want to organise your own game? Book a Round
  • Easy – simply book your round on our website
  • Lots of tee slots available in the weekend and through the week

Twilight
  • In summer, every Wednesday from 3.00pm we have a popular twilight competition
  • Played on the back nine
  • No booking required – simply turn up and report to the shop  to pay your entry fee before going over to the 10th tee and join in with whomever is there (open to non-members as well so bring along a friend!)
  • The bar and caterer is on site afterwards so you can enjoy dinner and a relaxing drink in the clubhouse after your round

Interclub
  • Plenty of opportunity to join one of our inter club teams
  • Catering to a wide range of handicaps
